Folders under Bookmarks have disappeared
Hi
I have a few folders under Bookmarks that i regularly use. They seem to have disappeared. The direct link bookmarks are still there. I don't know if a recent update of Firefox has done this? How do i get them back please? thanks ...

OK i have found a backup and got my bookmarks back, so the question is now, what deleted my bookmarks and how can i stop it happening again?
When i ran the backup you could see by the number items on each backup that something has deleted them. (number of items - 287,288,289,293,294,134,114 ???)

If you have sync, and there is a problem anywhere, Shut Down Sync Immediately On All Devices to prevent the problem from spreading. Once the problem is fixed, perform the same repair on all computers/profiles before using sync again.
[v57+] Places Maintenance is built into Firefox.
Type about:support<enter> in the address bar.
You will find Places Database near the bottom. Press the Verify Integrity button.
When done, copy and post the results here.
