Thunderbird in PC and in iphone when new email arrived
Hi,
I just installed Windows 10 and Thunderbird 68.8.1. I use this email adress on my iphone mail aplication. When arrive new email and is deliverd firts in iphone, in Thunderbird is email marked as readed. But I did not open email on neither application.
When I had Windows 7 and same Thunderbird I can read emails on mobile, but on PC are still unreaded and that was cool. I did not forget for something what I need to do in my work.
Is there some settings which solved this problem? Or another way? Now it is depand if it is deliver first on my iphone mail or Thunderbird in PC.

This is about your iphone and your mail provider, not Thunderbird. Some mobile apps mark the mail as read, some providers mark the mail as read. Then it's status syncs to Thunderbird. In this case it will be your iphone mail app I think.
Before Windows 10 and new Thunderbird installation this was OK. I have two mails from two providers and both have same problem. I did not change anythink in providers settings and also on my iphone. So problem is somewhere in Windows 10 or Thunderbird.
On providers mail page and iphone are not mails marks as read (and I did not read these mails). But in Thunderbird are marks as read.
And I have another thought - In NB I have version of Thunderbird 45.5.1 nad also Windows 10 and all mail delivered here are ok and unread...

and is that IMAP or POP. I guess POP and now you have IMAP and are complaining nothing has changed. That is at least the usual route these discussions go through. Turn off your phone and wait for mail to arrive. Is is read, if not the problem is the device you have turned off.
