Slow Startup V78.5.0 (win10)
Latest update is very slow on startup. Noticeably slower than the previous version. Any advice is appreciated.
Computer - Windows 10 64bit

At help > troubleshooting > show update history, what was your prior version?

Without touching messages or folders, start *Windows'* safe mode with networking enabled - win10 https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/12376/windows-10-start-your-pc-in-safe-mode Still In Windows safe mode, start thunderbird in safe mode - https://support.mozilla.org/kb/safe-mode-thunderbird
Does problem go away?
Problem gone and the program starts FAST when -
- Start > Windows Safe Mode with Networking > Thunderbird Add-ons Disable
- Start > Windows Safe Mode with Networking > Thunderbird start normally
Please see above, I don't think I was totally clear - As I wrote, Thunderbird did start up faster when I started Windows as written in my previous post. However, once I start Windows normally, Thunderbird reverts back to starting slowly. So the slow start still exists.
