Switch between email accounts
I have registered two email accounts in Thunderbird. But I can't switch between them. I have to close Thunderbird and restart to be able to choose the other email address. How do I manage two accounts in the same session?

well most people just add both account to the same profile. so there are two account in the left pane intead of just one.
Try menu > New > Existing mail account to add the second account.
If you already have both accounts set up in the same profile, it should be easy to switch between them if the Folder Pane is not hidden. AppMenu/Customize/Layout to enable the Folder Pane, or View/Layout on the Menu Bar.
Even if for some reason you have the accounts in separate profiles, they can both be open at the same time from Help/Troubleshooting, about:profiles.
