In earlier versions of Thunderbird, you could get to the Message Filters "directly" through the menu as they were on the top level. They are now under the Tools option which is more difficult to get to - see the screenshot.

Is there a way to put the "Run Filters on Folder" and "Run Filters on Selected Messages" functions on the toolbar?

If they can' be added to the tool bar, one good spot for them would be on the Quick Filter Toolbar: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/quick-filter-toolbar so I'd like to suggest that as an improvement to Thunderbird.

Thanks

Looks like there is an add-on that might solve this: https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/addon/filter-on-folder-button/

But I'm still interested in hearing about other options.

Thanks!
