Hi all,

After a recent update to firefox I didn't like the premade colour themes, so I made my own. There is one thing that bothers me though, and I'm not sure how to change it: As you can see in the attached image, the tab I'm currently on has a clear distinct colour. However, all the unselected tabs have the same colour as the background. I find it annoying that this makes unselected tabs harder to spot, and makes it harder to see where one tab begins and the other ends. It is minor, but it annoys me. Does anyone know a way (either via settings or the add-on firefox color) for me to make the unselected tabs stand out from the background?

Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately, I don't think either the add-on theme UI or Firefox Color lets you change the background color of inactive/background tabs (which is "transparent"). I think you would need to delve into custom style rules (userChrome.css). Not sure whether you would want to look into that?

I haven't tried yet. But thanks for the suggestion!

I actually know what to do about this one: When color extension is fixed again, open your theme in it and go to tab highlight or something like that and change it to a different color-- lighter on a dark background or darker on a light one. I forgot the actual name of it in the advanced color-changing section. There is a diagram with all the tabs and parts listed with the proper names for them somewhere...I stumbled upon it once. Just search support at mozilla, you should find it there. I hope this helps a little!
