Recover FF session from yesterday after restoring Windows 10 with a backup form a week ago (FF sync is on)

Windows 10 crashed so I had to restore it with a backup from one week ago.

My restored Windows shows the open tabs in FF from a week ago. I thought that having FF sync on would automatically restore my last session (in this case from yesterday) but is doesn't, so I've lost some important new open tabs.

Any idea how to get the most recent session back?

Anyone?

I thought an important benefit of sync is that you have an online backup of your last session. So in case your PC crashes you can always get back your most recently opened tabs and saved bookmarks.

Now I lost some to me very important open webpages from the last week...
