I use Firefox on all of my devices but the phone, because it keeps crashing every time I try to open an internet page. Can this be the result of having an old phone with android 5.1.1 or a little space in the memory (althrough the app can be installed without an issue)?

Hi

Yes it can - I recommend opening the Android Settings app, select Applications and then find Firefox. Under Storage, clear the cache (not data!) - feel free to do the same for other apps on your device.

It doesn't work. Firefox starts, lets me personalize the browser, then when I'm trying to open Google it's trying to load a website for a few seconds and then crashes.

I got rid of half of my applications and the firfox just takes longer to crash. How much space can it need?

How much free space do you have on your phone (excluding any SD card)?

My phone has a total memory of 8Gb. I was able to get rid of useless apps to have 1.5Gb free space (with firefox allready installed)

Is it working better now?

It takes a bit longer to crash

What is the address of the website that you are trying to open?

Wgst version of Firefox for Android do you have installed?

Are you using any add-ons?

What level of enhanced tracking protection do you have set?

I tried opening google, Wikipedia and Mozilla. Crashed every time. I downloaded firefox from google play store, so I think it's the most recent one. I don't remember installing any add-ons I wasn't messing with it (don't even know what exactly are you talking about), so I think it's on default. Where can I check?

If you open the Firefox for Android menu, select Settings, then select Enhanced Tracking Protection you will be able to see which option has been selected.
