Hello,

I seem to be having a problem when playing any VR content in the latest default version of Firefox (97.0.1, 64-bit). When VR content is being displayed, I do not get a prompt to allow access to my VR headset in the address bar.

I have a first generation Oculus Rift CV1. In the Oculus software's settings, I have enabled Unknown Sources and selected it as my default OpenXR runtime (see attached image).

I would like to provide some suggestions as to what might be going wrong but I am unable to even hazard a guess. VR games and standalone applications work fine. It is almost as if Firefox doesn't recognise I have a VR-compatible device?

Thanks in advance for any support, -L

Exactly the same as OP, with some additional info. The problem started within the last month and was working fine for over a year on the same system with no changes. When clicking VR content, I used to get a prompt, and after clicking "Allow Access", everything worked fine. I no longer get the prompt (only in Firefox), and it simply doesn't work.

The problem is limited to Firefox and but everything still works correctly on Edge and Chrome (both of which I would rather not use).

I just built a completely new system with a clean install of Windows 10 Pro 64, fresh download of Firefox, and the problem is duplicated on the new machine. Everything VR works, except when using Firefox.
