Hello forceautoinc.

Ok. I use a similar system where on my computer, to send e-mails, it requires the password to the account I set up in the smtp settings. So, if you were to check out the settings/properties for the smtp settings for your account, does the e-mail address associated with the smtp settings match the e-mail address you are receiving the e-mail to? Or is the e-mail address associated with the smtp settings different from the e-mail address you are receiving the e-mails to?

Basically or usually, you would have the stmp server settings set up to reflect your isp's mail server settings and thus would have an e-mail address that would likely be a primary access to the account. If you are using a secondary account, it could be different from the primary account and even have a different password. So my advice would be to see what the e-mail address is being used and go from there. If it is the same e-mail address that you are sending and receiving e-mail messages from, then something is wrong. If they are different, check with whoever owns that e-mail address. Also, if you own the e-mail address you are using, maybe you could set up the smtp server with your e-mail address, if it could be valid to send through the smtp server, maybe with slightly different settings. It all depends on the properties of your e-mail address and what passwords are being used.

Hope this can help somewhat.

Will
