Hello-

After updating to TB 102, I could not receive my Outlook account emails because Tbsync was not compatable yet. I have recently updated the Tbsync with the new version, but I still am not receiving my emails. Is there still a problem with Outlook email accounts?

Thanks, Bob

I get outlook.com emails in Thunderbird. Perhaps you might share the error message you see.

Hi Matt- Well, I guess I need to be more specific. I am getting a continual request for my password, but when I put it in, it does not accept it. I have Office365 that required me to use Tbsync in order to receive emails in TB. With the new 102 update, I couldn't receive these emails because Tbsync was not compatible yet.

I just looked back through some of your old topics. Are you still using davmail?

Just to be clear. Office365 and outlook.com share many similarities, but office365 appears to have more stringent password requirements and they are pushing oauth (modern authentication) pretty hard and disallowing passwords (basic authentication). I wish Microsoft would just speak the same language as everyone else.

Have you tried actually changing your authentication method to oauth in account settings?

Yes, I am still using Davmail. I'll try the oauth settings.
