Hi,

If Enhanced Tracking Protection is enabled, our Zendesk support widget does not work (`The resource at “<URL>” was blocked because content blocking is enabled.`).

But the support widget is clearly not a third-party advertising or analytics site.

Is it possible to include a domain of our support Zendesk widget to Firefox white list?

Also, I want to add that this happens in private browsing mode.

There are many other requests to sites that are not third party advertising or analytics sites.

For example, Enhanced Tracking Protection in private browsing mode blocks request to LinkedIn resources ('https://media.licdn.com/')

When on that website, press the Shield icon at the far left of the address bar then the button to switch ETP off.

Problem with Firefox itself. It is a bug.

Enhanced Tracker Protection should not block such requests.

We cannot place a banner on the website for users with text `Do not use enhanced tracking prevention in private browsing mode in Mozilla Firefox. It breaks a Zendesk support widget.`.

You can check the Network Monitor for blocked content.

You can use the about:url-classifier page to see whether a domain is on a block list.

Okay,

I understand why GA4 or Amplitude is blocked.

Why are requests with hrefs (origin linkedhelper.zendesk.com) associated with a Zendesk support widget being blocked?

The tracking list is provided by a company called Disconnect, you can learn more and give feedback here: disconnect.me/trackerprotection

Websites that use this widget will often tell users to disable blockers.
