I love Firefox and am a committed user, but on only one of my PCs it runs so slow that I am considering switching browsers. The slowness happens most of the time, but not all of the time, except when I open more than one tab, when it is all of the time. (Neither Chrome nor Edge have any such problems.) The loading time for pages is agonizing, and I have tried the following: * Clearing Firefox's cache (which usually fixes the problem for a day or so) * Resetting Firefox (which usually fixes the problem for a day or two) * Using all combinations of Performance settings (using/not using recommended settings and using/not using hardware acceleration I am running the same Kaspersky software on this PC as the ones on which Firefox runs well, so I don't think that is the problem (although I'm not an expert tech user, I admit). I'm running an AMD Ryzen 5 2600X with 2x8 GB DDR4-3000 RAM. Please advise.
