Once again, MS Edge updated itself without my permission and set itself as default browser. When I restored Firefox as browser, my history and bookmarks are all gone. How do I get them back?

What was involved in restoring Firefox as your browser? Did you have to install anything or roll anything back? Did Firefox mention any problem accessing your profile?
