Issue with links opening in firefox 3.6.12
When I click a link that was sent to me in an email, it used to pull up firefox and open automatically; now when I click a similar link, the firefox browser appears but the link does not open. Certain programs, such as skitch, require links to open in this manner, and I am currently unable to use these programs. Please, help.

For a more specific example: when I posted this question, I was sent an email asking me to confirm the posting of this question, which I was unable to open by clicking the link. I had to copy/paste the link into a new tab.
