I live in Japan and have a Japanese laptop with English language packs but firefox loads in Japanese
I live in Japan, have bought a Japanese laptop and loaded up Windows Ultimate to have displays in English. I want to install Firefox but when doing this it installs the Japanese version. How do I get Firefox in English please?

Download the English (US) version of Firefox 3.6.12 from here:

The Firefox you posted here with is the en-US version of Firefox.
Is your problem with the web pages that you are loading?

Correct - that's on my desktop which is English Window's 7... My laptop is Japanese W7 ... it's that which has the problem...

Strangely it prompted download of exactly the same file... but actually this time it finished with an English interface...
