Trying to paste a link in email shows as plain text in Firefox, but shows as link in IE. What setting needs to be changed?

When using Yahoo mail in IE, pasting a link shows as a link, but shows as plain text in Firefox. (YES, I know how to convert it to a hyperlink, but should not be necessary since it is automatic with IE.)

Such a conversion is done via a script that usually only works in IE and not in other browsers, so in Firefox you need to use the toolbar button to create a hyperlink.

OK. Thanx for the quick reply and info.

Is there any Firefox extension or Greasemonkey script that can give FF the same functionality as IE on this?

Using that button to create each clickable link manually seems a bad workaround; sometimes I paste long lists of links in emails... I imagine I'm not the only one who ever does multiple links.
