Have MacPowerBookG4 with OS 10.5.8 with Power PC. Firefox 4 was downloaded onto it, overwriting old Firefox version. New version is not supported but old version is gone. How do I get it back?

Found others same problem Found link to old version in this forum. Downloaded it. Thank you. Would like to know how long it will be supported. Can't afford a new computer with an Intel chip yet.

How do I return to the old FF3 version? I have a FF icon with a line through it and can do nothing with it, nor can I find the old FF3 file...... Is there step by step instructions? I've never downloaded something that I've not been able to correct. But this has me perplexed... HELP!!!  :-)

I certainly wish there was a warning that FF 4 is not compatible with Mac PowerPC processors. My desktop Mac G5 is my little workhorse and I also cannot purchase a new Mac yet.

Yes, a big orange warning would have been helpful. Here is the link for 3.6.16 for anyone else with this problem:

My G4 is not compatible with my video camera, either; one of many cascading examples why I'm feeling "old". Cheers and best wishes to those of us with not-flat 20 year old TVs, and whose turn-table record players still work.
