You have turned on Permanent Private Browsing mode which makes those options grey so you don't accidentally turn it off.

Fortunately, there is a easy way to turn it off.

Click the Firefox button > Options > Options > Privacy tab then uncheck Permanent Private Browsing and click OK.

Or, if you don't have the orange Firefox button:
Tools > Options > Privacy tab then uncheck Permanent Private Browsing and click OK.
