While trying to play a game on character arcade (i have been using for over a yr) and suddenly since ff5 I cannot load game
I have been playing games on characterarcade.com web site for over a year with no problem, now, suddenly I cannot 'load' the game, (any game) - after choosing the game, generally an ad would play, then you are to choose play the game, and instead of the game appearing, the screen goes white and nothing happens... what gives?

That is a Flash game.
Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

You can also try to disable the hardware acceleration in the Flash Player.
