I cannot delete or edit bookmarks. When I try to look at a bookmark's properties, only the blue line that says "Bookmark Properties" appears - no details o data appears.
None of the steps to edit or delete bookmarks listed in "Help" have any effect. I can add bookmarks and rearrange their place in the list, but I cannot remove them or edit their properties.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.
