Not sure what more is wanted: my questions are: In the new Firefox 6 (1) where is "organize bookmarks"? and (2) how do I make the bookmarks list page narrower; used to be narrower. Thanks.

It is renamed as show all bookmarks. On Windows the shortcut is Ctrl+ Shift +B, whereas the bookmarks sidebar, which is narrow is Ctrl+B.
I do not know if on a Mac you may be able to use the Cmd key instead of the Ctrl key; but the menu options should work.

That can be caused by having some bookmarks with a long title.
The width of a column in the Bookmarks menu list is in current Firefox versions automatically adjusted to fit the bookmark with the longest name.
You can check the names of the bookmarks and make the longer ones shorter.
