Everytime I try to restore my previous session it closes the tab and won't let me open firefox anymore. Do you know how I can fix this?

I had about four tabs open when I was last on firefox i closed the tabs and shut down my computer however when I turned it back on and tried to recover these tabs the window just diappears and I can see the Mozilla at the bottom of my screen however I cannot open it. I have retried but to the same problem.

Sounds that one or more of the tabs are causing Firefox to crash.

Did you try a new session or exclude some of the tabs via the about:sessionrestore page?

I cleared all the tabs then quit properly. Relaunched firefox. gave me the same oops error message and listed all the same tabs I just cleared. no matter what I do it goes back to those tabs NEVER remembering anything I last did.

It is possible that there is a problem with the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

Delete the sessionstore.js [2] file and possible sessionstore-##.js [3] files with a number and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note or bookmark them).
