some websites eg hotels have an email button when I click on these it says I need to set up an association. How do I do this. My OS is windows 7

But this is the message I get "There is no email program associated to perform the requested action. Please install an email program, or if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Programs control panel." I have been to the Default Programs control panel but still cannot work out what to do.
