How do I get sites to remember my e-mail address on sign-in?

Before I used my laptop at a public library, sign-in pages would automatically remember my e-mail address with a drop-down when I clicked on username or user ID. After using the laptop at a public library, it no longer gives me the option of clicking on the drop-down to enter my e-mail without typing it.

How can I get it to do that again?

Hi,

You may have to make sure that either Remember history or Use custom settings for history is selected beside Firefox will: in Tools (Alt + T) > Options > Privacy. Additionally if Use custom settings for history is already the default, then Remember search and form history should be enabled and if Settings is active, Form and search history should not be enabled. Please note that if the earlier entries were erased when clearing history or automatically when Firefox was closed, you may have to type it at least once before the entry reappears next time.

Awesome. I REALLY appreciate this. Everything you said directed me to do all the right things. Thanks again. It really is nice not to have to type in my e-mail each time I log in to my frequently-visited sites.
