Does FF have a feature where I can return to a session I used say a month before that I was able to save?

I had someone fix my computer. They restarted, they opened FF (just my start page) they checked a website and restarted. When I returned to FF the restore previous session only showed what the repair guy had viewed. My previous session was gone.

So does FF have the ability to save sessions I can open up at any time?

i'm not sure if your question is directed in the past or in the future.

  • you might still be able to find all your former pages in the history section of firefox.
  • if you've a backup of your profile folder before this repair thing happened, you could (while no firefox instances are running) replace the current sessionsstore.js file with the one you've backed-up.
  • in order to save sessions for the future you can also use an extension like Session Manager
