Downloads don't stay in Window
Firefox download window is blank after a download is completed I have to go to the Windows 'Start' menu to find it. I have tried the tools>options>privacy>use custom settings> remember download history but it still isnt working.
As far as I am aware I am using the latest Firefox as when I go to update it says Firefox is up to date.

Go to Profile folder and delete the downloads.sqlite file, see for more info :Downloads not visible in Download Manager .

Thanks for the help but it didn't work they still don't stay in the download manager.
Try Reset Firefox – easily fix most problems and check it again.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
