All of my tabs are gone & when I open a new tab, I don't get the tab page.

I installed the latest version of Firefox this morning. I had to go out & shut my computer down. When I restarted it this afternoon, all of my tabs were gone. I had 20 tabs open & now they're gone. When I click to open a new tab, I don't get the tabs page.

Did you look in History > Restore Previous Session to see if you could restore that session?

It is possible that Firefox didn't close properly and that the previous session didn't get saved.
It is usually better to use "Firefox/File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit") to close Firefox if you are currently doing that by clicking the close X on the title bar.

Also make sure that you do not use "Clear history when Firefox closes" to clear the Browsing History".

I didn't know about restoring previous session until just now. Firefox has been closed & restarted several times since I installed the newest version. "Clear history when Firefox closes" is not checked. I am using Windows XP on a PC, so I always click the close X when I'm closing Firefox. Everything was working fine until I installed the latest update.
