I updated all my data - bookmarks, history, passwords etc. to your sync server, it was on Windows XP. Now i got new system (Windows 7) i logged into mine account, i see here that there are my stuff. But problem is that anything is loading on my new firefox. I still dont have passwords, still dont have history, and still dont have bookmarks which was most important. I found too Sync now button under Firefox Menu but nothing happens when i push it. So please help if you can

It's actually better to directly transfer your profile if you still have your old computer, sync isn't designed for a backup service. Back up and restore information in Firefox profiles

Thanks for the informative reply, Tylerdowner, however its not the response I was hoping for.

The way I use computers (home computer at home with home related links & setup, and work computer at work with work related links & setup), really the only useful feature sync would provide would be to transparently move my browsing session from one machine to another, and specifically from one build on the machine to the next.

I'm looking to do a fresh install of the OS and was so stoked that Firefox has a sync feature. However, as it turns out its useless for how I would expect it to function. Perhaps a few months/years down the road I'll give it another shot once they've got the end-user experience ironed out a bit.

With the way Mac has moved everything to sync remotely - it's the sort of behavior I've come to expect and love out of my devices, having to manually back files up seems SO 2000's lol :)
