I clicked on show all bookmarks, import and backup, restore choose file and go to my profile and no bookmarks are there! The only day I can choose it today (when the upgrade happened) and I have no BMs.

Make sure that you look in the correct location for the bookmarkbackups folder.

You can use this button to go to the current Firefox profile folder:

  • Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Show Folder

You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file in the Firefox Profile Folder.
