An internet page I accessed last week spontaneously loads whenever I back out of a tab. I assume I accidentally set it as a homepage, by I don't see any home page settings in options or settings.

In order to try to remove this, I opened the menu and clicked in the star, which then added the page to my bookmarks, but I don't see how to access a list of my bookmarks in order to remove it.

Additionally, scrolling is very difficult, if I use a normal finger swipe the page vibrates up and down a little and then simply stays at the same position. I have had to use a very very quick, fast swipe to scroll down on webpages, but the scrolling was a very big problem when trying to type this question into the text field, the view automatically scrolled past where my cursor was at for entering text and after I scrolled up to see my typing, it would jump back down as soon as I started entering text.

Are these pages launched from other applications, e.g., email? If you don't formally quit Firefox for Android, it seems to open pages launched from other applications in the last used tab rather than a separate new tab. If you tap the number to the right of the current tab to show the open tabs, you should be able to close everything you don't want showing up again.

To display bookmarks, tap the address bar, then look for the little sub-tabs (for lack of a better word) to get to bookmarks.

I'm not sure what to suggest about the scrolling and screen jumping. Hopefully someone more familiar with the app will have a suggestion.

Try fixing the tab by going to "about:config", then accepting the warning if it's there. Type in that address bar browser.newtab.url, and it'll show up in the list, right click it, hit modify, and then type in the preferred address you want to show up in the new tabs. Even when you start Firefox and then close out of the home page tab, the tab that is left won't be considered the "new home tab page".
