Every night at 1am CST, Firefox starts up automatically without me being at the computer and points to a location to "fix windows errors" or something similar

Every night around 1am CST, whether I'm at the computer or not, Firefox starts up automatically pointing to a location that has something to do with "fix windows errors" or "media player needs to be reinstalled" or something of the like. If I'm at the computer and have Firefox active, a new tab opens and if I close it immediately, another opens just as quick. Has anyone else encountered this and how do I fix this? I've run Malwarebytes and AVG and neither have identified and removed anything to remedy the situation. I've had this going on for 2+ months.

Resetting Firefox did not fix the problem.

This is likely something like malware, that added a item to the task scheduler, to remove it see the link below.

NOTE: Make sure you are deleting the correct task, if not you may damage your system.

You may also want to do a malware scan with all programs linked below.

Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one.
