I have firefox sync across 4 devices. On phone and tablet I can send a tab to other devices, but from home pc and work pc this does not seem possible?

The ability to send a tab to another device on my firefox sync account would be very useful from desktop versions of firefox. It works well on my android devices and would be a great bonus on the desktop version of the software too.

You can sync tabs on the desktop version of Firefox but the tabs do not automatically appear / open.

In order to see the tabs that are opened in a different device simply go to "History -> Tabs from other computers" or type "about:sync-tabs" in the address bar. If this page is empty, make sure that you have chosen to share Tabs in your Firefox Sync settings. You can do that in the "Sync" sub-menu within the "Preferences" menu.

I hope this helps.

Syncing tabs gets the job done as it were, but is not as user friendly as the "send to" option that I have on the android version of firefox.

It looks to be experimental at the moment and the reviews are a bit mixed but I suggest trying it out to see if it will work for you.

Hey I've seen we can check out tabs by typing "about:sync-tabs" in the address bar... My question is can we check our histry also just by typing something on the address bar?

Hi.

This is a different question to the original topic. In general you are best off starting a new thread in this case because you will then get more attention from the support volunteers.

However I did a quick search and to view the history page in a tab you can use this string: chrome://browser/content/history/history-panel.xul

If that is too long you can always bookmark it and put a link on your bookmarks bar.

Yes but here I see only the history from my PC but not from the tablet ...while the tabs I see by typing "about:sync-tabs" are from the tablet.... Please check this pic out and tell me if my devices are still synced. And why I am not able to see tablet's history on my pc?
