I deleted an old account and then added a new account and now I have a mirrored/duplicate set of accounts showing in the left column - each active (with a 40 emails count difference!) How can I remove the new additions? Thank You.

Tools menu (alt+T) > Account settings.

Click on the account names in the list to change them. Work out which you want to keep and use the account actions button at the bottom of the list to delete what you do not want.

The account settings do not show the mirrored/duplicate accounts, they only appear in the vertical column on the left. Using the accounts settings I tried to delete an account and it deleted both my original account and the mirrored one. When I re-installed this account - I acquired a duplicate again!

Thanks for the reply
