Windows 8.0 Sleekbook HP 15-b129wm touchscreen. What I did: [Search/Settings/"Change the color of your task bar and windows border"/Color and Appearance.] I changed windows border color to turquoise color because the default brown was matching against my newly installed brown background scene. Since then, periodically (not frequent) a ff browser opens with a black top border. I can't see the top right (minimize, expand, close "X") buttons. Why does this happen? First time phenomenon. Is this strange behavior due to Windows 8.0? My changing the windows color? Obviously, right now, my ff browser is behaving OK. What can I do to correct the black border next time it comes up when I launch Firefox? How I got out of it? Alt + F4; sometimes "Ctrl + F4".

HI Jammu, I just set up mine to have the same settings. I opened a few windows and could not reproduce this. However I would suspect that if this only happens sometimes you can try Firefox Safe Mode or resetting Firefox to the defaults on the [about:support] pag just in case there is a theme or setting that does this.
