I have followed the steps to create a signature, but all to no avail, when I open a new msg, all i see is loads of lines of HTML, not a signature.

What i would like is a signature that has my

Name, company name company website twitter and fb logos that link to my twitter and fb pages

it helps up to a point,

I know have a signature that has the formating I want, and I've managed to add links to both my website and twitter / facebook pages.

However, I would prefer if the twitter / facebook were icon's rather than straight text

the html that has been generated is below

I'd say you'll need an img tag. http://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_img.asp
