Hi,

I used the LinuxMint update manager to update packages as usual.

Firefox shows up as an update, so I updated that too.

Halfway through the install while it's configuring rsyslog, it hangs after showing "syslog user already a member of adm"

It stayed there until I logged out and rebooted hoping that would clear up the hang.

Now any use of dpkg apt or apt-get comes up with an error saying to run "dpkg --configure -a" which I did and ends up in the same hang.

Help? Caesar.
