Previously, ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/latest/win32/en-US/ Firefox Setup was available for download thorough Explorer Windows on a Windows based Computer. This facility was useful to install Firefox on an infected computer with just one(Internet Explorer) browser available.

Now, ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/latest/win32/en-US/ This location is not available over FTP.

Will Mozilla make this available again?

This was the WORST thing Mozilla could do. Seems FTP download facility was the only reason it was downloaded most of the time.

Goodbye Mozilla !

So you cannot download Firefox by one of the other links?

You said you would download with the IE web browser and not a FTP client.

Not really an issue not being able to use ftp:// anymore unless you were using a ftp client that cannot view the http links like the examples above also.

If a Computer has just one browser Internet Explorer and due to any reason, user is not able to download any application through Internet Explorer, then user can type that "FTP" link directly in "My Computer" address bar(windows explorer) and download Firefox over FTP.

If you have an FTP client that supports the HTTP(S) protocol then you should be able to retrieve the files.
