how do i change the weather location on blank search page?

more options

in the top left of the image is a weather location (not my current or even correct location.. i only see this when i open a new blank window, and although its not a real big deal i would just like it to show where i am at or not show at all.

can i change this to be whatever my current location is? (automatic would be nice) if so, how do i change that?

Hi Brian, I don't know how AVG calculates that information on the page. It may be a feature of an add-on or a website, I can't tell. If you click the location (the color makes me think it is a link) does it let you change it there?

for some reason it made sense when you said it, i tried the same thing before i posted.. when you click it pops up a small window (search for city) (set city), i did not see an option for automatic.. :(

Maybe it's less creepy if it's not automatic.

Or maybe the automatic detection is the problem. If the city keeps reverting to the wrong one, it may be that your internet connection runs through an IP address that the service provider registered to a physical address in that city, even though they service users over a wider area.
