firefox browser won't load status bar on xfinity video clips. chrome does load s-bar.

I have the latest version of firefox browser. For 2 months, the status bar has NOT appeared when an xfinity video-of-the-day is played. The comcast technician accessed it on his i-pad and the status bar worked. I then used a chrome browser on my computer, and the status bar is fine. But the firefox browser will now load the status bar. Is this a programming issue, or is it a setting? It worked fine in Firefox for 10 months. It came back on once, for a short time, but now it hasn't worked for over a month. Thanks

Sorry for the mistype. The last question should read "But the firefox browser will NOT load the status bar." I misspelled the "not" as "now".
