Colon near spacebar, why
Hello,
Two questions/issues.
When I use Firefox on my 7" Samsung tablet, and attempt to write (type) in the URL space, a colon appears just right of the space bar, where the spacebar usually is for all other typing purposes. And so I find I'm constantly typing in ":" where a space is supposed to be. And Firefox interprets this as I'm trying to invoke an app. Makes me nuts! 1) Who's changing my keyboard for Firefox? Is it Samsung or Firefox? 2) Any suggestions to stop this would be greatly appreciated, if you have one.
Second question, a new android phone, I'd like to use Firefox on, but only see GooglePlay as the only place to download it. Is it available anywhere else?
Thank you for any info/advice/direction you may have.

Hello there,
For your 1st question: this is happening because of your keyboard settings, you will have to change them from the settings. Like Google keyboard is having an option which will use a full stop when you double press the space-bar key. I suggest you to try using some other keyboard and then check if the problem is still there.
For your 2nd question: It's recommended to download apps from trusted source only like play store so that the security of your device is not compromised. There are many marketplace out there for the download of Firefox, to name a few there are- 1mobile market, getjar, all in one downloaded market place etc.
