My browser suddenly reverted back to an older version from about 6 months ago and all my bookmarks and history since then has disappeared. This happened after i had tried out some proxies and restarted the browser. I tried restarting again and updating but nothing happens. I wonder if it's possible for it to come back to how it was or are all bookmarks and history gone forever?

Chosen solution

Hi, in case a Refresh has occurred, look on your Desktop for a folder named 'Old Firefox Data' - Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings

Failing that, you can try this: Open bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks > Import and Backup > Restore, and see if you have a backup there.

If not, please see -
