Master password encrypts all passwords. If you have an account that is working and accessing it's password. The Master password is working.

If I was able to use your user network for help, I would have. I get lost and confused trying to use it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I need an answer to my problem. Why can't I talk or chat with someone??????? It is still not working even though I got rid of my master password. I it still asks me to put in a master password then the stmp password and will not take anything I give it! Every time I bring up Google of anything it insists I put in these passwords. How can I disable the master password for everything?

You are using a free product which offers free support, so we don't have paid support, phone support, blah, blah...

I'll readily admit, many sites may be difficult to follow, like http://kb.mozillazine.org/Master_password#Removing_your_master_password

Try https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/protect-your-thunderbird-passwords-master-password?redirectlocale=en-US&redirectslug=master-password#w_changing-or-removing-the-master-password which presents it a bitmore nicely
