It's been a few months now that Firefox is unable to play embedded videos from openload.co website. These videos work in other browsers I tested. I tried a clean Firefox, 32 and 64 bits version, on my Win 7 x64 system, and Firefox can not play these videos anymore. I can share links to pages containing this kind of videos, but as it will be most likely copyrighted videos I'm not sure if it will be OK, just tell me.

Anyone here able to play these videos in Firefox? I tried at friends' but problem is exactly the same.

Sharing links to copyrighted material is perfectly fine. What the other person does with the link is their issue.

The address you gave just gives me the upload page so no idea what is going on with playing videos.

Next time you have a issue and before making the post please turn on send info to Mozilla. This helps us understand what could be causing the issue.

Since have no info am shooting blind and suggest you update your motherboard drivers if at all possible from the manufactures site. You may have to open the box and get a flash light and look for make & model.

Fyi: Firefox version 56.0.2 is the current release https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/

Note: Firefox 57 Quantum release date Nov 14th https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/quantum/ Note: all Legacy Extensions will no longer work. Find updated versions and or something that does the same.

Thanks for the answer, I'll have a look to these links later then, but in the meantime, please check the following links as example, each of them for me have the same problem (please have antivirus, adblockers and all the needed stuff to browse streaming video websites, these sites are full of ads and some may lead to unsafe malware sometimes too..):

be sure to select the Openload player under the video frame: http://sokrostream.ws/films/a-nous-les-petites-anglaises-1976-82716.html http://sokrostream.ws/serie/remi-sans-famille-saison-1-episode-1-102766.html

Tell me if it works for you, pretty sure it is not.

Noticed this on a friends page that he uses for watching stuff. Each browser has a different look of the site and all are on different size monitors/TV's . Do not think there is much that can be done with this issue as per above. I tried. Just hope in a future release it is available again. At the moment Firefox is looking at code literally and not offering leeway on coding mistakes that other browsers are doing.

As explained about current version and 57 release date may help.

In the meantime look for another site as there are many to choose from.

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

Not sure if is sad or not when you see other browsers display broken websites anyways. HTML Errors off 1st url above https://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fsokrostream.ws%2Ffilms%2Fa-nous-les-petites-anglaises-1976-82716.html&charset=%28detect+automatically%29&doctype=Inline&group=0

CSS Errors same url https://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/validator?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fsokrostream.ws%2Ffilms%2Fa-nous-les-petites-anglaises-1976-82716.html&profile=css3&usermedium=all&warning=1&vextwarning=&lang=en

It is sad that Firefox is unable to play video file from Openload when all other browsers can without any problem. Hiding this problem behind CSS errors or bad HTML in the website I gave as example is poor excuse, honestly. You can go to any website, even the one strictly respecting CSS and HTML rules, this does not change the fact that Firefox is unable to play videos from Openload.... this has nothing to do at all with the problem. Create a blank HTML page and insert embedded code for a Openload video if you want, Firefox will not be more able to play the video. Firefox can not play the video file.

OK, you can stop Please. Again it is the code on the Web Page Use another Browser. Do not post further on this issue as there is no solution at this time.

Further keeping angry about this and posting about it it gets posted to be solved and you are interrupting other work being done by Volunteer Support People

OK so nothing will be made to Firefox in the future, because there are html and css errors in the page I gave links to? What is this forum about? is this a joke or what?

I come here to report a problem on Firefox, but now I would have to admit, when I know this is BS, that this is because Firefox is superior to other browsers who do not respect this or this rule.. other browsers where the problem does not occur on.

There is a problem in Firefox, I report problem. You need to admit that problem is on Firefox and don't make wrong assumptions. Firefox needs to be fixed.

That's all, Problem in Firefox, needs a fix in Firefox. No need to say to me to stop posting, especially when you say BS to make poor excuse to cover the problem.

I didn't come here to talk about design or whatever css rule you come with, I told you, make a basic pure HTML page respecting whatever css and html rule you want, not add an integrated video from openload. Open the perfectly fine page regarding its CSS and HTML, with different browsers. Video play on all browsers but not on Firefox.

So yeah, this is simple.
