Firefox will not Quit unless I do a Force Quit

When I select Quit it does a time out (Not Responding) and I always have to use Force Quit

This link has a program that can crash Firefox.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
