On Quantum (Firefox 57) I'm getting the old firefox newpage, not the new one?

So I've downloaded Quantum Beta, and I really liked and enjoyed the new newpage layout, but for some reason now it's gone? How do I get it back? It's the old newpage layout now, and I really liked the first one.

That is probably because the Activity Stream (AS) design has been disabled by default.

  • Bug 1411797 - Turn off activity stream for 57

You can check the browser.newtabpage.activity-stream prefs on the about:config page.

  • browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.aboutHome.enabled
  • browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.enabled
