Where's the "Open New Tab" command in the new browser?

I cannot find how one is supposed to open a new tab. use the duplicate tab option then go from there. Why you have a duplicate tab option but not an open new tab option is beyond me. The new browser's speed is nice, after that you should've left it alone.

hi, by default there should be a +/open new tab button on the right of your tab strip to open new tabs. if you're not seeing it there, perhaps go to the firefox menu ≡ > customize... panel and restore the default layout in there.

How nice, one cannot edit their post...well here the correction; the second sentence should read "I have to use the duplicate tab option then go from there."

Thanks...the option used to be in the right click menu as well.

If you want to know how to duplicate a tab, middle click on the refresh button, or right click and select duplicate tab!

OK, here's the problem. The +/open new tab button on the right of the tab strip only shows up with the default theme, I was using the dark theme. Had the open new tab option been left on the menu there would be no problem.

It should still be there with the dark theme, if nothing else works -- try going to about:support and refreshing firefox -- but please note this will delete your add-ons and customizations, the rest of your profile information will be stored and saved on the desktop in an 'Old Firefox Data' folder, to transfer the info back into the new profile, open Firefox, goto about:profiles -- and click Open Folder, then drag the relevant data into the new profile and restart Firefox.

It's not there and thanks but I'll pass. Like I said, the new browser's speed is nice, after that they should've left it alone.

This new layout is making me crazy and wasting a lot of time. All I want to do is open a page in a new tab, not redesign the Brooklyn Bridge.
