Instead of a theme picture in the tool bar area will there be an add-on, in the near future, that will allow me to change the background of the browser page? I am just wondering if there is one in the works is all.

Hello, you can submit a feature request @ https://bugzilla.mozilla.org you will need to create an account once there, once you do that please follow the documentation for bug filing to get you started. Thanks!
