Hi, Please consider turning on send info to Mozilla from with in Firefox before posting a question. This helps us help you. I have no info from your system that would help see things that cause issues. So I do not have any info. Guessing. You also did not supply enough information to help with the issue.
If on 59.0.1 Firefox there appears to be an issue that only affects users who have turned off Cleartype Font rendering within their Windows Settings. So a workaround for the moment would either be to turn Cleartype back on or disabling hardware acceleration in Firefox: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/performance-settings
I cannot get anything of the FireFox page to open at all. It did not open this morning after the computer was shut down all night. any suggestions??? My name is Randy Thank you for your time. I am running these questions on internet Explorer right now...
Again I do not have enough information, in detail please. I do not know if Firefox will not start or is it a page that does not load and you did not mention a fix in the previous message if worked, tried it, or not.

Some problems occur when your Internet security program was set to trust the previous version of Firefox, but no longer recognizes your updated version as trusted. Now how to fix the problem: To allow Firefox to connect to the Internet again;
- Make sure your Internet security software is up-to-date (i.e. you are running the latest version).
- Remove Firefox from your program's list of trusted or recognized programs. For detailed instructions, see
Configure firewalls so that Firefox can access the Internet. {web link}
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
Try to start Firefox with the about:blank page by creating a copy of the current Firefox desktop shortcut. Add a space and -url "about:blank" to the target field in the Properties.
Boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support to see if that has effect in case security software is causing problems.
