Firefox Account sends me an Authorisation Code but after I tipe that in I get the message wrong password.
My old harddrive seems to be fried, I set up a new one and tried to log into Firefox sync.
I got the password wrong several times but at last today it seems I got it right and the next page was prompted including something like this "We send you an Authorisation Code to your Email, please tipe that in".
I received the Email and tiped the Code in but then was prompted to a page looking exactly like the login window and telling me "invalid password".
I repeated that process four times in case i got the code wrong, copy pasted the last Code and now I can't even get to that step anymore it always says "invalid passord".
Can somebody help, I really can't loose all my favourite saved sites and it seems that would happen if I reset my password.

Try to log in to the Firefox account via this website.
I tried that already, also it's the standard link for logging into sync. That won't help, also tried the other one you often recommend.
If you can't login via that website as well then at least it isn't caused by the Firefox Sync settings.
If you use extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) that can block (wanted) content (Adblock Plus, NoScript, Disconnect, Ghostery, Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin) always make sure such extensions do not block (wanted) content.
- make sure your extensions and filters are updated to the latest version

Clear the Cache and remove the Cookies from websites that cause problems via the "3-bar" Firefox menu button (Options/Preferences).
"Remove the Cookies" from websites that cause problems:
- Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security
Cookies and Site Data -> Manage Data
"Clear the Cache":
- Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security
Cookies and Site Data -> Clear Data -> Cached Web Content: Clear
Hi, since your drive was fried, you lost the token that was on the drive to Firefox Sync. Regardless of anything you tried to log in 4 x's your account is locked after 3 x's.
You do not mention a 2nd device that you Sync with and do not say that you tried logging in with that.
So appears from your question, that you are using Firefox Sync as a back up service. This is not what Sync is designed to do. The Firefox Sync service takes a copy of the data you wish to include and transfers it to a second device (typically a mobile device such as a tablet or a telephone) running a copy of Firefox. The storage in between all attached devices is both temporary and fragile and is not stable enough to be (and is not designed as) a reliable backup service.
If you have a copy of your Firefox profile for desktop Firefox, you may be able to recover your bookmarks and other data. Please have a read of these article.

If you have a copy of your data on a mobile version of Firefox, please follow these instructions to connect it to Firefox Sync to copy your data.
If this is incorrect please let us know as we can get you to a Supervisor.
